GDLU—God Don’t Like Ugly—is a movement redefining men’s grooming with premium skincare that honors Black barbershop roots while embracing global innovation.

Our founder, Isom Winton, a Black American raised in the Midwest, spent over 20 years in Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia, bridging barbershop culture—crisp fades and community vibes—with Asia’s precision skincare science. Spotting a gap for high-performance products tackling real men’s needs like razor bumps and irritation, he partnered with elite OEM labs in Korea, Japan, and Vietnam to craft GDLU.
